Jason Phillips brings over twenty years of experience in the telecommunications industry, distinguished by a proven track record in leadership and project management. His career commenced at Advanced Communications, Inc., where he advanced from a Fulfilment Technician to an Operations Manager, overseeing projects across Michigan, Ohio, North Carolina, and Maryland.
In his tenure at AM Communications, Jason adeptly managed a team of 250 employees spanning eight states, ultimately serving as Director of Operations. His role encompassed strategic planning, enhancing operational efficiency, and fostering team development.
Progressing to Stratis and its predecessor, Gabe’s Construction Company, Jason assumed multiple leadership positions. As the Senior Vice President of the Construction Services Division at Stratis, he was responsible for managing business and field operations across key construction segments, with a focus on P&L management, client relations, new business development, and IT oversight.
A passionate advocate for workforce development, Jason has significantly contributed to industry initiatives. His collaboration with the Telecommunications Industry Registered Apprenticeship Program (TIRAP), alongside the Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA) and Power Communications Infrastructure Association (PCCA), has enriched his perspective and connections within the telecommunications sector. His recent endeavors include participating in a DACUM at Ohio State University for a Small Cell Occupation and joining the Employer Advisor Committee for the State of Ohio Workforce Transformation Department. In these roles, he continues to serve as an advisor and Subject Matter Expert (SME), applying his extensive industry knowledge to shape workforce development strategies. His involvement extends to the Michigan Wireless Association as the Secretary and a third-term appointment to the Board of Directors for the Buckeye SCTE Chapter.
Beyond his professional sphere, Jason is a dedicated board member of the Carson Higgins Memorial Foundation, a charity committed to enhancing the lives of children facing cancer and other challenges through funding therapeutic, medical, and educational programs.
On a personal note, Jason is married to Heather, an entrepreneur from Dayton, Ohio. They are proud parents of twin sons: Joe, who is pursuing business studies, and Cody, who is currently serving in the US Air Force.
